Job Description:

THIS POSITION IS ELIGIBLE FOR A $500 SIGN ON BONUS

SUMMARY

The Program Assistant is responsible for programmatic support under the supervision of the Director of Adult Residential Services.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assisting with day-to-day trouble shooting throughout the OMH adult residential programs with staffing problems, medication and resident issues.

Review and approves completion of Restorative Services/Medicaid Billing in the absence of the Director.

Complete documents necessary for program reports and data collection, such as; end-of-month paperwork, program goal data, hospital trackers, hospital debriefing data, and will complete associated program reports.

Support the Quality Assurance program as needed with completion of case record reviews, as well as discharge charts. Coordinate completed forms for submission to Quality Assurance Coordinator.

Assists Director with incident tracking and other related follow up tasks. Will follow up and track requests for more information from the Incident Review Committee and monitor closure with Corrective Action items.

Participates in staff development and training as needed.

May complete site walk through safety and cleanliness visits in Apartments and Community Residences.

Assist in the development of services and special projects as needed/requested.

Other related duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Associates Degree in Human Services field; and two (2) years related experience and/or training in a community or residential setting (including experience with developmentally delayed, geriatric and co-occurring disorder clients).

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must maintain valid driver’s license.
