Transitional Living Services seek overnight respite care for children
with mental health conditions in the provider’s home. Care Providers
will provide overnight child care respite for families on an emergency
or planned basis. The goal of this service is to provide the child and
family a break to promote an increase in family harmony. Care
Providers supervise and engage the child while in their care with an
environment and activities that support his/her constructive interests
and abilities. Mandatory respite and documentation training provided.
Care Provider will complete criminal history background clearance and
clear the State Child Abuse Registry. Requirements: Must be 21+ years
of age, have experience working with children (preference given to
those with experience with children with special needs), high school
diploma or GED, a home that is well kept and in good condition
providing a safe environment for children.
